Wrong decision 

The echoing silence
after making the wrong decision,
The deafening stillness 
after remembering what you could say
but didn't.
The blackout of regret,
The swirling thoughts of could've beens
There's so much I could do, 
So much I could say,
It hurts to keep remembering
What I could've done but didn't.

I could've taken a different path,
Maybe say the right words.
Now I lay stranded in an unfamiliar place
Drowning in my own self regret.
Looking back at the path behind me
Wishing I can turn back the clock,
Reversing the damage I made
Recovering and avoiding the crack of my mistakes.

But life don't work that way
The clock can't reverse
and no matter how much I beg
The arrows of a clock won't turn back,
The days won't reverse
and worst of all the damage is permanent.

All I could do is do my best to stand
Walk over the cracks,
Move beyond my mistakes 
Learn to walk from the damages I made
Because although I regret many things
I have no choice but to walk forward.
